i miss mine, no idea why. 1983 suzuki hatch, 3cyl 800cc of pure grunt. 12in tyres, no aircon and a speedo that worked when it felt like. good times. my school mates used to pick it up and wedge it inbetween trees for me to find.

but it i did have a full sound system worth 3 times the cars price in it lol. Included 3 subs :) lol it cranked.

if i ever see it again, i will offer to buy it back but i dont think i ever will.

this lil hatch wouldn happen to be an alto by any chance?

Not one bit. After the thrill of freedom wore off I relised what a heap of CRAP it was, a 70's Mazda Capella :( Should have bought a Torana :) but my second car was a VL Commodore which made up for the first mistake!

my first car was a vb sl/e commodore, one owner with 98000 on the clock when i got it, 253, trimatic, full electric with factory steel sun roof, aztec silver with tan stratos seats. it was a great car, couldnt kill it. when i sold it about 11 years ago it only had 160000 on the clock, and only sold it cause i was offered good money, spuwen i sold it.

Yep I sure do! It was a VL 5 speed sedan with 54000km on it when I bought it (at 9 years old)! There is nothing like smoking the s*** out of the tyres at the lights when you are trying to get used to hill starts whilst on your L plates, leaving the taxi behind you (who blasted the horn when you stalled) in a massive cloud of white smoke!!! Awesome! Damn truck hit it up the backside though and wrote it off, was not impressed!! I have owned 3 VL's since trying to get one like that again but no luck!

YES!! Big time, it was a 1970 ht kingswood, sedan...It had a Worked 202 with a 3 speed box. It also had lots of chrome, centrelines mags and bright White in colour, and lowered too. Then, I did the dumbest thing i sold to a person who didn't look after it...... :( cheers Jason
