Door locks - help

hey i bought some chrome interior window strips and i had to take my door trims off, including the door locks the black push up ones

once i took the push lock off the shaft i noticed some have not sit back in the right spot or they dont hold on the shaft, what do i do?

mate the orange clips at the bottom of the button are what hold them on.
this girls are old and most are cactus by now.

yeah, but even with them in they dont stay on the tread???

I have the same problem on my 2006 VZ on the passenger door, so how do you fix it??????///

door locks reply

they wont sit back in the same spot?

they dont grip and you can pull the locks off?

sounds like you broke the clips on the orange bit, time to get some new ones.

i have replaced the orange slips i went to the wreckers and got a good 50 clips + the door lock black bit

and still no grip,

are you pushing the orange clip in so it locks onto the shaft?
