Down hill assist

can some please help. i read a thread with a ute with 4x4 down hill assist. i drive a 04 vz auto and every now and then when i reverse it out of the garage the display says the down hill asssist is off. i can not find anything about this in the manual. I thought maybe holden has used the same program as on the adventra?

yeah i remember that thread its just a computer glitch

Because the same dash cluster is used in the Adventurer that light is there. Put your foot on the brake and say to the car 'downhill assist is now on'.
