Ari. look at the torque scale. ;)

@ 5252rpm torque = hp. Doesn't mean the graph will always intersect there because, in the case of my graph, the scales are different.

i know we clarified in chatbox, but for those too tight to donate:

there is ONLY torque. horsepower does not exist, its a fictional calculation based on torque and RPM.

HP=TQ x 5252 / RPM

soooo, ALL calculations will ALWAYS intersect at 5252 RPM (metric calculations are different) if you get 500ft/lbs at 5252 or 300ft/lbs at 5252 HP will always intersect at that point, itll just be higher up the scale or lower.

if the 2 intersections happen at differing RPM's (in that dyno sheets case, 4250RPM and 5000ishRPM) then there is some mystery calculations going on and the sheet needs to go in the bin.

Agree. Torque = Power @5252.

But, dyno print outs will no necessarily show the torque curve cutting the power curve unless they are plotted using the same scale. Is the scales are independent, as is the case with my print out, they won't intersect at that point. The one weird thing with my chart is before and after. Because assuming both are on the same scale, both should intersect at the same rpm.

Cheers.

Yeh very happy with it, just got to run the engine in some more on the street and better tyres, then give it a run on the black top and see what it pulls, then a diff gear change and see from there.
So should be running it soon and see what it pulls.
