Can someone tell me what would be the modern equivalent for BR78S13 tyres (on 5.0JJ x 13 steel rims)
tyres that suit early Commodores? I have tried to work it out but can't decipher.
Were the BR78S13 equal to 175/75 or other sizing?
I'm afraid I don't have enough knowledge in this dept.
Help is muchly appreciated.

Maybe a 4cyl commodore ran 13"x5" wheels but I throught they were 14"x6" and then 15x6 & 15x7"up to VL then combos of previous and 16"x7 and bigger after that.

If your refering to the car in your ride spot then you should have 185/75/13

Thanks Scott,
Mine (VH Comm) has 13 inch rims.....the same sizing as BR78S13 would be 185/75/13 ? Am I reading this right?

Out of interest what are you paying for tyres?

It might pay to do a diff & front rotor swap 8 bolt salisbury diffs should only be about $150-200 and front rotors are cheap, a set of 15" stockies and you should get access to a load of better rubber
