EARTH GETTING HOT

hey guys after some advice on my vn commodore have recently put a s2 buick into it and my loom was short circuiting i think so i wrapped it all individually in tape but now my earth is smoking would this happen if its not grounded well or something maybe a positive going to wrong place idk

fault? if it terminal isnt loose? does it spark a mother trucker when you lift the earth terminal off and touch it back on? .

im think same thing as its getting really hot might just try find another loom and go from there
