hey guys. I'm tinkering about with my new head deck, and i just can't get the Bugger to work! Basically, I've connected accessory to yellow on the loom, batt twelve v to nothing, dimmer to brown black, and constant to yellow red. Is there something terribly wrong with this? Thanks! Dan.

Possibly a silly question but have you grounded it?

yeah you should connect it to the ground of the old headunit?
is there a fuse in the back of the new headunit?

If its a VN the original loom colours were,

Yellow = accessories
Orange/White = to fuse
Black/White = to ground
Yellow/Red = Power antenna signal

plus the unit itself was grounded have you done that as well
