K frames

Hi all. Just wondering if someone can tell me the easiest way to tell the difference between a power steering K frame and a manual steering K frame (vh). I'm pretty sure the one in my vh is a manual frame (I need a power steering one) but I don't want to jump the gun pulling it out, only to have to put it straight back in.

Apparently not. I'm doing an LS1 conversion. And the only way pacemaker guarantee their headers to fit is to use a power k frame with manual rack

Hi Guys
I'm new to the forum as I have recently purchased a VH SLE.
It has some rust issues.
I hope I'm in the correct area to ask some questions.


Can anyone tell me if the back window bottom panel & parcel shelf, are the same on a VL to fit a VH?
I am going to a wrecker to chop out these sections for replacement.

Also I want to cut out the spare wheel well from a VL to weld into my VH. Is this the same too?

Let me know your thoughts.

the steering rack mounts are in a slightly different position
can't remember if PS is higher or lower, but that's the only difference

triple SU manifold

sorry may be a silly question but am young and have just started doing up a 202 84 model vk. would like to put triple SU carby on but am wondering whether all types of 202's will allow it to fit, or are some harder/worse than others? thanks in advance

HDT VK Master Momo wooden steering wheel

So I picked up a Peter Brock HDT signature Master Momo steering wheel a few years back and cannot find its origins. It was off of a red VK (I saw the bloke take it off the thing) and I can't find evidence of this thing ever existing. It has a signature horn, it's made in Italy, Has master Momo inscribed on the rubber face plate and another Peter Brock signature of the inner metal part of the wheel. Does anyone have any information on this thing?

I have a vk with a brock Manuel gear box and I also have a vc 1981 sl wagon that's auto, can I do a conversion using the vk gear box in to the vc wagon?
