Is there a big difference between the vz executive and the vz acclaim?
which is better?

I don't believe there is such a thing as a better car, more or less how much are you willing to pay for the 'extras'.

depends if your after a little fun get the executive, if your a hopeless driver and need the car to correct over and understeer get the acclaim

thats about it

one good thing about the acclaim is "legally" you can go to 8" wide wheels because the stockies are 7"

one bad thing about the acclaim is side airbags... i'm one of those people who likes less features because then less things can go wrong.

i guess i might feel differently if i ever get t-bones in it though.

oh and reverse sensors are pretty handy sometimes, air con is standard and so are power windows... acclaims are the same price generally as exec's so get one if it is similar km's and $$

so is it illegal to go 8'' wide with the wheels if it is an executive??

as far as im aware you cant go bigger then the biggest avaible rim for that model, which would be 19x8.5
