1 5/8 inch extractors, 3 inch cat,2 1/2 inch stainless, centre muffler as far back as possible, 4 inch resonator with 3 inch outlet
beleive it or not muffler positioning is what gives every exhaust its unique sound

Ive got extractors into twin 2.5" system that then goes to a single 3" before the diff. Sounds good and as for power, that plus HSV airbox and the fact its been looked after all its life netted 143.5rwkw.
AirStrike :air:
140.2 kw for me with single 2.5" + HSV Headers

I put gene headers onto bro's 308 VH which are two piece, then lengthened the second part of the header making it about 1-2 foot longer into a twin 2 1/2, into a 3" vortex cherry bomb muffler, 3" over the diff into a 3" silencer out the rear. Around 103db@2000-3000prm . No cats were fitted as they aren't required in NZ. His motor pokes out 200rkw@5000rpm easy. We also flanged the vortex so it could be dumped. Sounded awsome but was bloodly loud @6500rpm.

Mate i am running pacemaker tri-y's into race cats ( 2 pipes with flangers at each end) balance pipe and twin hsv mufflers with dump pipes in my vr senator. I'm running the harrop intake with holley tb. Old school look and that awsome old school sound. Deep on normal take off and very loud when over the 4000 mark. Plus the ground rumbles!!
