a resonator will make it drone even more.......get a thing called a muffler lol

don'tlay with the cams unless you are willing to do lots more to balance the entire motor.
the cam varies the current fluency of the entire donk, change it and you may be up for heaps of other mods or you may just destroy the motor and then have to write things like matt about engines breaking.
the change in tone is due to the motor settling at the revs and not over revving
whats the use of a car that sounds like a tank, it will become a cop magnet and then you will have to bitch about police harrassment or worse, someone smashing your windows when you wake the neighbourhood up when you get home or leave.
I lived at Fairfield and the young guy across the road had a real mean falcon XW ute that used to make everyones windows bang when he started it, worse thing was he loved going fishing at 4 -5 am on weekends.
The car ended up key scratched nad windows smashed and booked every second or third day.
