Heya fellas...

Does anyone know what the fastest HSV around is? I'm not interested in stock cars, but wild ones...

Has anyone cracked 350klm yet??

Does anyone know if the car would handle such speeds?????

No commodore will go that fast... they are not aerodynamic enough, nor are the internals strong enough to cope with the massive stresses they would be under (unless you spent mega bucks upgrading the whole drivetrain/g'box).

I think this is a good thread. No need for this sort of sarcasm. The fastest production HSV was the GTS Coupe....auto.... I think, got 275km/h in Holden's speed bowl, driven by Motor or Wheels, was a while ago lol. The LS2 HSV's get 273km/h, I can't remeber if it's been tested, so might just be a claim, but one I can see being very plausible.

Hmmm....very broad question! I'm sure there are some fibreglass HSV shells hootin along the salt flats somewhere, and they'd break 350km/h easily.

mine is not a hsv. nor does it have a fibreglass shell. but it can do 215Km/h in street trim and i think there is a bit more in it, maybe 220Km/h. but after a bit of boost should be a different story.
