Faulty reverse camera

Hi all,
Have a 2011 ve sportswagon series II sv6. Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with reverse camera?
Mine works hardley ever, it displays the lines & stills beeps, but screen is black. Anyone know if I can fix this issue at home or do I need to take it to get looked at?

At a guess the camera is disconnected from the head unit?

Mine does the same thing, but not very often. I think it may be the boot loom. I going to clean the connections with some electrical cleaner on the weekend to see if that helps.
