I have been told we cannot retro fit fog lights to our Omega.

That is without changing the front bumper.

Is this so, why would Holden pull an act like this.

Anyone any thoughts.

Regards

I don't think your front bumper is designed to be fitted with fog lights. Yes I know it sucks but maybe if you could try aftermarket ones??

I would assume they would have it so its a base, or if you like, a poverty pack

they would make it unable to be fitted easily to make the SS and SSV more appealing!

Why do people want fog lights anyway, it isnt like any ford or holden driver actually use them as foglights. By the laws and ADRS they should be illegal and many people should get fined for using them as most are way too damned bright.

Changing the bumper is the same for all models right back to at least the VT, why they do this I don't know, on the VT the wiring harness was there to fit the lights but no where to put them.

they would do it because its cheaper that way.

Buying 100,000 of 1 harness, as opposed to 50,000 of 2 harnesses is cheaper (as its a higher quantity)

I think that the omega has them as an option. I'm pretty sure i saw one the other day with foglights. It had what looked like an omega front bar with foglights and i think it had the 16inch hubcaps too.
