One thing most people don't realise is that these kind of races where the cars are not individually timed are pretty pointless because if one car gets a .1 second jump on the other and you can be sure one will. Then the whole race is pointless because a .1 jump off the start is going to be worth a car length or two or three by the time you get to 100. This is the reason you get V6 guys going I beat a 5 liter! but once they are both timed the V6 is allways a good half a second slower or more
