Ahh I see now, it was the v8 race day cars,
I wouldn't mind taking the fg out, but I think would be better with a bit of handling upgrade.

You just need power I took my car around Winton with stock brakes and suspension. Managed to hold it's own against plenty of 'track setup' cars.....................just had to catch and pass them on the straights.

That's true kiddo but any better will be an improvement regardless

I'm pretty sure the v8s they had for this day were just a standard 8 with a loud exhaust, some suspension work and a stripped interior didn't feel real special, I think even my na 6 would almost keep up.

And power is always a bonus.

Track Car = Mazda3 MPS? I know you want one How much do they weigh?

Why can't a FG be a track car? There is a guy who races a fairly stock FG F6 quite successfully. Good suspension setup and brakes, good to go, more power then all the 4cyl weekend warriors.

I think its the weight factor. If i fang it around a corner, i can really feel it.

Well I more or less meant drift car aha. 180sx sits at 1200kgs can't compare to an FG but the VS couldnt handle half of the corners
