The top bushes on the rears aren’t that prone to failure from what I can tell. When I changed out my rear springs from the kings super lows put in by the previous owner the rear strut tops were fine.

Fair enough, I had wondered that when I bought the parts and had them fitted. I wasn't able to see the condition of mine as I had to get the wife to take them to Pedders when the local garage couldn't get the springs to compress as they kept slipping on the spring compressors due to the pretty major taper my springs have.
