Try spraying some "Get Off My Garden" around the perimeter of the area.

So it took a whole 48 hours but exactly as I suspected was going to happen has happened. Fkn "see you en tea" cats have decided to make my outdoor lounge a very expensive kitty day bed. I'm thinking a cover is going to be the best bet, which is a pain in the arse every time I want to use it. The other option is a "possum" trap, which I doubt will win me brownie points with my neighbors if they see it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've always been fond of lead poisoning, courtesy of an air rifle, but this was discussed a few years back on another thread and it didn't seem to appeal to some members of the forum. Or the law. Pity, really because it's very effective. And permanent.

It's difficult because you need to be able to use the seating as you wish. I tried using pepper liberally spread around the area once and it had some effect but it doesn't last.

Perhaps your own mongrel dog might be the answer?

I used that stuff once when trying to keep our dog our of the new garden beds. One day after applying it liberally, I found him happily chewing on his bone, laying in the garden, surrounded by that stuff. It didn't affect him at all. I didn't buy it again.:p

I have to admit, this is a pretty bloody relaxing way to spend an afternoon after work. Just add beer, take off pants and you're in heaven!

No water restrictions over there ?

When is your first mow due ? It's looking a little long.

Yeah, we have a similar system here but given this was posted 7/1/16

Turf went down today.....

I thought 30 days had expired. Need to check we have the same calendars on each side of this wide brown land.
