By "kit", I meant the gear you have put together.....the Troy711 kit.
Ahh, I see. I'll post some details and stuff soon.

My nutsert gun turned up today and I figured I might as well mount a light as "proof of concept". Needless to say, I'm pretty bloody happy with the result!

It's exactly the look I was going for, neat and no exposed cables. The only thing I'm not happy with is that I made the hole slightly off center from where it should be (probably because I was too keen and rushed) but I doubt anyone will pick it. I plan on soldering all the wires to the lights tomorrow and if I have time, mounting them all up ready for wiring. The only thing that will slow me down is if I can't remove the plastic caps on the tops of the sail legs, in which case I'm probably going to have to unbolt them one at a time, and that's going to suck.

Mate that sail kit looks awesome. Is it just bolted into the slab? Details on that kit?

Ah bugger... I need something strong enough to stay up in all weather.

I started to run all my cables today and worked out that it's going to be a **** of a job and I pretty much have to take the whole shade sail and frame down. I might see if I can get it done early on Friday or Saturday in the morning to beat heat.

Can you put up a list of the parts you brought for your lighting kit?

Qwerty
Ended up cracking the shits with the grass just outside of my 'patio' area, it really wasn't growing as well as I had hoped. So, I ended up digging up the soil - probably a 2x5 meter area - threw down a very generous handful of Couch seed and an equally generous helping of lawn fertiliser.

hoping to have me a healthy patch of Couch soon!!

Finally, my lights mounted, cabling and switch run and all working. I've run some temp cables just so I can put the sail back up and see how it looks at night. Next step is the panel side of things which I will probably get to work on tomorrow morning. I picked up the outdoor lounge which I'm going to set up this afternoon :D
