I'm VERY pleased with the FALKEN 914s on my VE. Fabulous tyre IMHO.
Very good grip wet or dry, and Tyrepower are TV advertising a 4 for pay for 3 deal right now on the 12 hour that we all should be watching, or better still being there.

Second that. I have them on my car and I'm happy with them.

Bridgestone T0001 are not to bad either.
Where Bridgestone tyres where the original tyres installed on most GM Cars.

If you don’t want to worry about loss of traction use Kimforest. The traction is not there to begin with.

Pirelli P7 are another great tyre.
Check the ratings on the sidewall of the tyres you are interested in. For good traction and long life I would be wanting a treadwear rating over 350, Temperature rating A and traction AA.
And don't listen to tyre salesmen who say you should ignore those ratings ;)

I'm running the Pirelli Dragon Sport.

Good grip wet or dry, low noise and seem to be wearing OK.

vs commodore
There a few websites that give feedback on tyres that show reviews on how they handle, comes down to the buyer and budget, usually softer the compound better grip but wears faster, you wont a in-between compound that wheel serve you in safety and better life span, at the moment I'm running Hilo jap tyres as that's all I could buy with a pension they ant to bad, best to go and check out some websites and see what's out there they always changing plus new ones on the market.
