Hello, i have a slight grinding sound in the rear left side. It on makes this sound when im turning left at about 20kph. Its a vs ute lowered, solid diff. Does anyone know what can be causing this sound, and tyres are definitely not hitting anything.

Also know as a live axle.

You say it has been lowered, how low did you go and did you fit an adjustable panhard bar? Does the tyre look like it has rubbed on the guard at all?

check the rotor isn't hitting the calliper bracket and check axle bearings for excessive end float

Yeah live axle, stage 3 lowered, no rubbing marks on tyres, has adjustable panhard bar and how do you check for excessive end float. Just checked the rotors and they are not hitting the calliper brackets ?

Well found the problem, it was the panhard bar. The bar just needed to be adjusted a couple of turns, the gap between tyre and side was out 4mm. Thank god for that i thought i was in for a new diff or bearings. Cheers fellas for the info.
