Hi every one

I just think about replace my vy commodore's fuel tank with the 2006 monaro's fuel tank and that because I wanna had a custom exhaust system with 2 side pipes (like the monaro) cuz I'm totally sick of that one side pipe:cry:

so does the tank gonna fit in my commodore ?
and if its doesn't ,what can I change to do that and what I need to do that.

that's all .

by memory if you were going to do that you have to raise the fuel filler up heigher and you will have a pipe running in you boot. by memory thats what they did to the monaro

It would be possible but then again why bother? The US GTO/Monaro fuel tank was mounted in the boot between the rear wheel arches to comply with US crash laws. There was a massive steel frame that protected it (just in case your car was rear ended at 150mph). From memory the filler was moved but I honestly can't recall for sure.

Just get your self a fuel cell in the boot, i think you would run into many problems trying to fit a monaro tank
