I need to fix a broken clutch in a manual V6 but the problem is I first need to get the car up a vehicle ramp (a 200mm height rise) to get under it.
I am considering 'driving' it up (the front wheels only) by removing the spark plugs/fuel pump fuse (reduce the engine load on the starter) and intend to start it in gear and driving just 1m up the ramp.
Has anyone tried this or could offer any experience on how fast will it move as I need to go up slower than starting the motor while in gear and risk overshooting the top/end of the ramp.
