Rear Headrests

Cheers... I'm thinking spot weld or get some sica flex type stuff.

I recently did the same upgrade to my car. Once all the brackets have been welded in remember that the correct rear headreasts had shorter shafts as well as two buttons on the sides underneath the vinyl. These buttons are pressed in to tilt the headrests forward to get them in the brackets otherwise they can hit your rear window or as in my case the rear venetian blind. You could cut the shafts from front seat headrests which im sure heaps of people have done. Also keep in mind that the top of your seat will have to have holes cut into it. Yours look like they are in good nik, might be a shame to cut them up. Good luck.

Only VC SL/Es had the tilt forward head rests and they are extremely rare to find, anywhere.

mig or spot weld would be best however, there is a company called stork (I think thats the spelling) that made this glue for gluing turrets back onto cars and it was exceeding the US crash tests and passing better than the original spot welds, I wouldnt use sicaflex though
