for those contemplating..
tried the Utube methods ..toothpaste fail ....baking soda white vinegar..fail
the sand paper method worked , 800, 1000, 2000 grit with water , buff with rubbing compound using drill wool buff pad , polish with car wax , 1 hour for each light .

The best way is to use cut and polish and a lot of elbow grease.

Make sure whatever you use to finish them off is UV stabalized. Otherwise they'll haze off in a few weeks again.

while they are still out there the best solution is to buy new OEM's while you can.

I did mine the same way used wet and dry sandpaper up to 2000 grit then hit them with meguiars plastix on a drill buff to polish them then a sealer on top and they came up pretty good, did the same on my daily which sits outside in the elements and no hazing yet although I’ll probably have to hit them again with the polish and sealer one day

I've heard good things about the Meguiars plastix. Will have to look for it next time I'm at Autobarn.
