Anyone ever experienced their headlight switch not controlling their lights?
I've been having this intermittent issue with my Calais where i can't change my lights with the switch. So basically I've always got the day time running lights on even with the switch at the off position and sometimes, regardless of where I turn the switch to the low beams will be on too.
It's tripping me out and I don't understand why it does this from time to time so does anyone have an idea where to start looking to fix this?

I had the same issue (sorta) with my xenons not turning off.
Look for a short somewhere in either the switch, or do a process of elimination.
Pull out the relay, if they stay on, the issue is your lights are grounding themselves somewhere after the relay.
In my case, my xenons ballast' was grounding itself against the chassis after the relay, so ripping out the relay they stayed on.
