I am thinking about clear coating them. What type of clear would you suggest? What about a plastic adhesion promoter?
My biggest fear is melting the plastic throw a bad reaction.
Cheers for your input.
I've done it with colorspec crystal clearcoat. No adhesion promoter, just make you sand the lenses back well to avoid reaction with any previous coatings.

buy new ones while you still can (originals not chinese eBay junk) they'll be good for a lot longer. If they haven't already GM will stop making these. As a plus new ones come with a full set of globes. :)

You could try this
I tried this method and even got the same Clear at Bunnings.
Came up great after first spraying then rubbing back orange peel then applying a second coat.

Awesome thankyou.
I watched the video you posted and bought the same brand paint at Bunnings and cost $20 total, paint and the iso cleaner.
Thankyou for your help.
