Help installing oil temperature gauge.

hey guys need some help have an oil temperature gauge sitting here just wondering how to go about installing it I'm unsure of where in the engine (L77) it plugs into with the temp prob and if I need to purchase any adaptors or anything to achieve this.

you could get an adaptor and run it side by side with your pressure sender unit ...any repco , autobarn ,supercheap should have the gear you need

what about an oil sandwich adapter plate been doing some research and that looks like the way to go but just concerned about clearance with it pushing the oil filter down about an inch.
