HELP! VR probs

Hi all been reading 4 a while, but first time posted

Got a vr com, recent engine change(2nd hand-low k), new one was sweet in old car but crap in this one, rough idle, stalls when warm, smokes grey cloud when started warm and seems restricted somehow.

Been serv (oil, all filters inc air and fuel) Done O2 sensor, coolant temp sensor, MAT sensor, cleaned throttle body, tried differant computer and still crap................................drivin me crazy

ENGINE OR ELECTRICAL?? Can anyone help???? Any ideas?

could be valve guide seals for the smoke not sure about rest, wot grade oil do u use?

and wot about fuel pump and filter it may be playing up abit??

i got some advice i owned a vn commodore sold it and buaght a v8 ----- v6 and straight 6 are just problems

lol ok mr money bags, not all of us can afford a v8 (rego and fuel) :p

Umm Shell Helix oil and 20w - 50. The guy at auto one said thats the one to use. Too hard not sure starting to think electrical

ive had quiet a bit of troubles wif mine, might hel you out abit

Nah havnt tried TECH1 but i hear its way to go for diagnosis? Do I need go 2 holden.

yea well, i went to a holden wreker here and they had one :p just do the ring around and ask for a tech1 diagnostic for holden
