Thanks @villn808, @dgp for the pictures and confirming that I had a rough idea.

Also dgp you did some good photoshopping in your post lol that’s also pretty much how I’m going to plumb it up.

I’m going to try and get a new pcv line for the passenger side so I can cut the hard plastic line off and run probably reducer form 12mm to 25mm and run a 25mm line to the catch can and then 25mm from can to the intake then reduce it back down to 12mm so I can use the factory connectors if that makes sense.

Why is the drivers side in vacuum?
And why have I seen people put a catch can on the drivers side?

If it’s under vacuum from the air intake that’s all ready filtered clean air why put the catch can?

The clean air side is only in vacuum during light/medium throttle driving.

At high rpm with the throttle wide open, the cleanside flows in reverse and back into the intake which is why people add a clean air side air/oil separator to compliment the catch can.

Thanks @monty_vfssv i don’t think I’ll worry about the clean side as I have never seen any oil in the air intake just a bit in the intake manifold.
