Hey im I’m vic and I’m looking to get my 1994 vr rwc and this is the first time I’ll be getting a car rwc I already know a few things that it needs but just wondering what I should look out for and if there’s anything that’s a common thing for theese not to pass for thanks

If it’s perfect it will pass.
If not it’s a fail as it should be for safety reasons.

Thank you and yes my windscreen has a very little chip so I dare say it will be being replaced also do you know if it can have 18 or 20 inch wheels or does it need to be the factory size

18s should be ok you just need to keep close to the factory diameter, OD.

IIRC The RWC test is done in two stages. You could simply get the first stage done which will show the items that fail. It’s up to you who actually does the repair work required. Typically the RWC tester will quote to do the work and they’ll want the work (to make money). But I don’t think that there is anything stopping you from taking the vehicle and doing (all/some of) the work yourself and returning it for the second test.

Which is what the op is asking about...What would the common safety items be for him to replace before going for the inspection

Hey guys , another question, my vr is duel fuel and the tank expired in 2018 so will the roadworthy guys do the tank test or will I need to get a tank test then go somewhere else for a roadworthy ? and does it matter if I get the roadworthy or tank test first ?
