Hey well done cukoo, i am also turbo charging my V6, Why ???? Because I own it..... That makes it the best base to start from, i have all that extra money to spend on performance bits.

I cant wait to see what it does on the dyno and the strip, Again WELL DONE ......

anyone know what the weight diff is from the v6 to the ls9 ?

I have owned a lot of cars from 2 cyls to 8l v8's. Everything is different.

I love the 2 cyl, didn't go any faster the 110km, but you could hold it there, and when I put the 10" x 7" golf cart wheels on, I could hold it flat everywhere, used to pass so many 'powerful' cars around corners. loved annoying them.

But, back on track, I have a soft spot for a well done six, be it straight or bent. Get one going past 7000 rpm, and you can leave v8's behind you.

Nice work. glad to see it all tidy and done right.

I know I said I was going to leave this alone but;

Buicks have 2 bolt mains.
So do ecotecs. Ecotecs have retainers in the mains. they don't count.

The rest of it... meh.

SO, mill the caps flat on the top, get a hi tensile steel bar square milled with holes drilled to match the caps. Get longer bolts, 8.8 grade or better . Just as good if not better then four bolt mains. :)

Old school ****, bucko :)

You need torque to go fast, horsepower is an equation.
