do you even need an intercooler with a rear mount setup
also I seen an injected 5l wb 1 tonner with a big turbz under the tray with the pipework going up into a dummy air box so when you lifted the bonnet it looked like it was NA

front or rear makes no diff. you should run an intercooler, cos when inlet gas is so close to exhaust gas the heat transfers and the inlet charge increases in size. intercooler brings it back to a better size.

old skool ET pulsars etc run without an intercooler, so it can be done, but they are gay cars. for gay people.
