Gday everyone
Just thought id outline the build of my 383 stroker.
This is what its got. (Currently being built)
COME TTB EFI manifold
COME 590 alloy heads 2.02in 1.60out
COME CSBR428 Hyd roller camshaft
228/[email protected] 110LSA .592" lift
Roller lifters from COME
COME 383 stroker kit consisting of
Probe 9.8cc forgies, I Beams & cast crank
10.8:1 comp
Yella Terra Platinum roller rockers
Block:
Line honed main tunnel
Bored 30thou & torque plate honed
Rod clearancing
4 bolt main conversion
Decks milled square to required height
High Energy sump & pickup
ICE 3 step Street/Race ignition kit
Aeroflow alloy r/covers
Memcal programmed by COME to suit or get it at least moving with a real tune later on.

Sam reckons it will make anywhere from 450 to 500hp.
Who here has built a similar combo?
And what power and torque did you make?
Anyones opinion who has had experience regarding a setup like this would be great!
Cheers

I have heard those come twin throttle body manifolds are not the greatest, read threads on Aussie v8 where people are getting good gains by ditching the ttb manifold and going to a carby style manifold with a 4 barrel throttle body on top

Single plane with at least a 1000cfm throttle body is better than the twins.

Just remove a COME ttb from my 355 and replaced it with the COME single plane and 1000cfm Fast throttle body. Never been on a dyno with either but seat of the pants says the single plane wins. Fits under the bonnet as well.

Ive read on a few threads the COME single plain is a much better option over the ttb manifold. Discovered this after I had already purchased it unfortuantly. I have plans for a pro charger type setup in the future with lower comp, forged bottom end etc so may be worth keeping. How much power could one expect to lose using the ttb man over the single?

I've heard that it is the preferred option for using them. Far more even air distribution.
