Well 14 days is not too bad. I asked for Red October delivery but couldn't be done had to settle for Red September.
To keep sane thought I start with the following liquor shots:
'Mind Eraser' to get me through till our date comes. Then some 'Peanut Butter and Jelly' on the day and a shot of 'Woo Woo' when driving off with 'King of the Mountain' in the backround

If someone takes her for a drive I'll be drinking some 'Red Headed Slut' and feeling like a 'Snake Bite' on return I'd feel like a 'Butterfly Nipple'
And when she goes for her first check-up I'd have a 'kamikazi' and an 'Irish Car Bomb' because those service centres are kinda trustworthy.

Yes , that is good buying,

I might have a partial explanation as to why there are so many MSE's still for sale ( reportedly 100 throughout Australia) , but I am sure they will all get snapped up .

I spoke to my financier today as I am due to pick up my MSE in the near future, he came back to me and said he wanted a larger deposit to be paid as they cannot find
SSV Redline Reserve Edition ( as per my
Dealer invoice, not to be confused with the employee reserve edition) on Redbook, therefore the default position of the finance company is to value the car as a std commodore , hence the shortfall on valuation verses my dealer invoice.

So just a word of advice , if you are applying for finance
Make sure your invoice says Holden SSV Redline, not reserve edition as mine did!, what a difference a couple of words make.
My purchase price in Victoria with tow bar was 76k
