Really? I feel a lengthy rebuttle coming on...Personally I love the look of all three. What I also like is the different highlights depending on the paint colour.
We all remember when the VF was revealed and many commented they were ugly, or resembled a Mazda 6 or Camry. Anyone would have thought it was an AU Forte! Now the vast majority love the look of VF's. Change is rarely embraced with initial enthusiasm I guess. But, I applaud Holden for making significant enough visual changes to set them apart. My VF Redline is only distinguishable from SSV's or SS's due to a Red V on the boot and the chrome forged wheels. But it drives vastly better amd the luxuries etc are great!
Re the Calais' distinguishability, I reckon it was the VT Calais which was hard to tell apart from its garden variety brethren. As for the Director. Sublime! It looks fantastic I reckon.
Aesthetic preference will always spark debate. Some like brunettes, some like blondes, some like...let's not got there
But it's what's beneath the skin that has me drooling. A non HSV Holden, with GM L3 Track Certification, extra features, interior upgrades, paying homage to classic Brock Commodores, and the great man himself and only available in limited numbers! They can bury me in mine mate.
