TT Supra/HZ Ute.
Have not decided on rims yet, its all too expensive.
As for the hard top ive been looking for one but the only one ive found so far has a rough surface and i want a nice smooth one. I'm thinking of making one myself out of ally and fibreglassing over the top of it or getting it covered in something.

i always thought or heard i dont remember that the only reason holden didnt use chev motors was because of the setup like chev is left hand drive so therefore the starter is on the opposite side or something like that and holden designed it so their motor would fit better for a right hand drive ... is this correct ???? mainly because it gets in the road of the steering ? and some company's work around this ... help please

It is only in the commodores that you need to use a conversion kit.
In the hq to hz it bolts straight in. The hq came out with them from the factory..

go withthe 350 chev, it has the single biggest aftemarket parts avail for any engine in the world, if you can think of it, somebody has brobably produced it forthe 350 chev

I'm going to say something different, go a 400 SB Chev!. Although i think these blocks are a touch weaker than a 350.

so i pose a question to you, why would you go for a motor that will not give you any real gains which will not be as strong?????

Makes a nice noise as well. So it's legal, it's the cheaper option, it has massive aftermarket support and it sounds the goods with the balls to back it up. The question shouldn't be why, it should be why not?
