holden wb dash lights dim

the dash lights in my wb ute seem dim, the dimmer is wound all the way up. any ideas what to look for?

Basics all good? I would check voltage with a multimeter and try supplying 12v directly to the cluster back lights, check that you have a good earth too

Likely dusty globes, or crook earth..
(My hx ute sufferers as well)

Given its a WB, probably normal, as we are spoilt with newer cars...

any idea on where the earth point is for the dash?

There are several under/behind dash, also on column.
Dash cluster out time...
