It's all in the tune...

Filter, intake, 1-2kw if that? But a better feel.
Full exhaust...depends....5-10kw?
98ron...couple of killer wasps maybe
Cams...5kw? Not much of a gain for the price, but can change the car significantly depending on what cams you go with
Underdrives....2-3kw? But the motor will rev more freely.

Cams 5kw?... changing the camshaft will give you the most gain out of any modification on your NA ecotec...

i have a small cam, ported heads, extractors and high flow cat with 2.5" catback, 70mm throttle body, 25mm mace manifold spacer, and mafless tune..
it makes 215hp at the wheels... it doesnt sound like that much but considering a stock ecotec is usually around 130hp at the wheels its quite a big gain.

From my experience with modding my XR6....it's more seat of the pants feel. Hell, my XR6 only netted 200rwhp AFTER a tune, headers, cat back, high flow cat, custom intake, filter, etc....a 5rwhp change from when it went in...BUT, the dyno curve told me everything I needed to know, the car was improved across the whole rev range...Kept up easily with my mates modified VL Turbo at the time, which was no slouch.

Should have saved that money and bought a turbo

I youd be hard pressed to keep up with any DECENT VL turbo my old buick v6 would make lunch of n/a xr6's

i have a small cam said:
215hp is 158kw, thats pretty good, you gotta be happy with that.
Do you know what sort of gain you got from the ported heads?
Are high flow cats worth while?
