Anyways been some...Significant updates to the car since I made the post..

Two weeks ago I finished the Cam swap and preventative maintenance upgrades.
Summit 8715r cam, Little baby boi.
Morel 6504 lifters
Summit HD .080 7.400 pushrods
BTR .660 dual springs
Comp Trunnion upgrade
LS6 style valley cover
Melling M365 oil pump
Improved racing oil barbell
Cloyes timing chain/3bolt cam gear and LS2 style damper
New crank damper
ARP head, Cam and Torque convertor bolts
Camaro trans pan and filter
Lokar trans dipstick
Stainless works Longtube headers and Magnaflow 12469 muffler.

Along with the small upgrades I've made before with E85 sensor and VCM OTR intake.
Currently at about 320kms on the new cam, finally got the idle dialed in, fueling it looking good and time to start working on the timing.

I'm not sure, it's possible they did a update on the new LS1 cars to reduce oil consumption. But I really have no idea.

Nope it used the valve cover PCV because of the VLOM for the cylinder deactivation.

Like taking a steel razor blade to the block deck, or wanting use to use steel wool on the head surface, and trying to use a hammer to get the crank damper off....
And every time I yelled "don't you dare" his answer was "well this is how I did it on my engine"... Bro, your engine blew up on the Dyno to get tuned...
