That's good to know, so I'm thinking the 20" x 10" +48 with 275 30 R20 will be fine.
I'll leave that for others to answer. Honestly, I wouldn't know.

Well your still 9mm short with the offset so I wouldn't assume it will be fine. If your pushing the limit in width the offset needs to be spot on, hence my earlier post re gtsr.

Koya suggested they sell 10” +42 as standard fit rear, for VF. I was guessing the extra 6mm would help. We’ll see next Monday I guess.

Koya make an 18"x10" specifically for VE/VF rears to fit 285 to 305 drag radials.
It has a +57 offset.

I'm not much for drags...but that's a great idea for those who want to put big sidewall tyres on for the track

No it's a good idea for people that want the widest tyre without rubbing, that's why hsv have +57, its all about offset mate.

I was suggesting I didn't want an 18" rear....

Yes, offset...that's why I ordered a +48 rear. So it would both clear the big brakes and not rub.

A 275 tyre on a 10 inch rim will give a stretched look.

It's the design of the rim centre that dictates how much clearance there is for the brake callipers not the offset.

Yes, sure...the guy who owns the firm looked at the cad and suggested +48 was good for the brake clearance.

I did my due diligence. The stretched look will help the fit.
