I think it just a harsh way oy saying you dont really have much chance unless you drive like a grandma. Just ignore the rubbish posts from the intellectually challenged and focus on the posts that make sence.

But seriously, mods that allow better flow will help, but remember, more air needs more fuel. It all comes down to driving style really.

Using neutral down hills uses more fuel than leaving it in gear.

Its pretty new and only done under 6000km + it is a crewman. It says its doing 15 -16 l/100 around town. Might get a bit better when it runs in a little more I guess.

Fuel economy will get a lot better as you clock up more kms',my sv6 was the same until it hit 13,oookm mark,than it was sweet.

I have a wagon and I'm getting 9-10L/100k. Very happy with that!

I'm using 98% octane fuel though, that's said to help a bit.

much the same with BaZ econ wise, round town im gettin between 10-12litre/100km
open stretch between 8-9litre/100km - hume cruise set 110kph
running mobil 8000 - bp ultimate

I get pretty much the same economy as you cold_carve only difference i have run mine on Caltex Vortex since new 11.3/100k around town and 8-9/100k on the highway.

How long did it take you all for the engine to be run in and the fuel consumption to drop.

I have done 4000k and its using 17L to 100k city with me babying it. Hopefully it will get better.
