I recommend Precise Automatics at Beenleigh. Speak to Neil Maxwell (the owner) he does alot of auto's for the drag cars. May have heard of him he was Australian Champion a couple years back in the Super Gas category.

Does really good work!

yeah, a shift kit will work wonders on kickdowns...i know mine does.
mine is super sensitive to any extra acceleration - its really cool, lol...it makes driving so much more enjoyable, to be able to power out of a corner or roundabout without needing to manually shift down, or just for those times you need sudden accleration to overtake, etc..
i "think" just increasing the line pressure (which can be done in kalmaker) of the trans will have similar effects...someone else may be able to confirm this.

What's the average price? Is it easy to install yourself?

I found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260017960573&fromMakeTrack=true

What do ya reckon?

Cheers

that one you linked is a electronic module you plug into your pcm. the shift kit i have is a transgo HD2 (stage 2) shift kit which was put in during the building of my current 'box. from what ive heard the mechanical ones are quite tricky to install yourself, particularly the transgo ones. just the kit itself is about $200.
