needwork2-4fillhabbit actually has the right idea. Sap ended up on my mate's magna's boot, a little WD40 sprayed on and left to soak in. Then spray on a little more on the area and you can use your finger to then get it off, and you wont damage your paint :)

Best part about WD40 is the next time a bat shits on your car it will just roll off.

A few people have used dry ice quite successfully. The concept is you get a few buckets of it, then put it on top of the deadener (after stripping the interior obviously) and leave it for an hour to so to harden, the deadener is supposed to literally crack and fall off.
