How do you replace compartment under radio?

What is wrong with the compartment, if it is only the door not staying shut it is a 5 minute job and a couple of dollar part off ebay.

i have that problem now. what is the name of the part? i have to search for it on ebay and not sure what to call it. thanks in advance.

Price difference is likely that one is genuine, wasn't just GM that used this, and the other is cheap chinese regardless of inserted part number. There's also 2 types so be aware which one you need if repairing. Often they break more than just themselves and you are the replacing the lid and the compartment. I've done it probably 5-6 times. Currently have nothing there as I hate pulling my plastic trim apart over and over, it also gets damaged each time.
