How many Km's on your VN/VP?

My Vn has 28,xxx KMs on it now, so going by some of the above kms and how little I drive it
It will be right for another 50 years :w00t:

Vn executive i think...

It says 180 000 km on the clock but after driving it on the 1st day for about 30 km i realised the odometer DOSN'T work lol

So about 6 months later engine blew a big end bearing and now im putting a series 2 engine in with 220 000 km in it.

As for the rest off the car i had to replace trans witha rebuilt one and its had 3 diffs in it(my fault).

The interior and body WERE in good condition untill i dented it. Roof lining looks brand new. Also i need new door seals

Before I sold my VP, it had 354000. Mine was an ex-company car. Log book services up until 220***km.

Replaced water pump, fuel pump and electrical leads.

My 1991 VP HSV V8 Calais has done 111,000 km. I bought it off my parents at the start of this year and it had 103k km on it. My parents bought it in 1994 with 89k km on it, so it hasnt done a real lot of kays.

Trouble is when a car sits for so long, everything just buggers up. Things i have had done/fixed:

1. Aircon (completely rooted, whole new system installed except heater core)
2. Brakes (upgraded brake booster, slotted rotors all round with Metal King pads
3. Exhaust (ditched the single HSV system for a twin cat 2.5" system)
4. Mega service ($700+)
5. A lot of electrical wiring had stuffed up somehow (power windows, mirrors, lights etc).
6. Tracking down and fixing a lot of sqeaks and rattles that are now becoming apparent
7. Fuel hose leaks in engine bay (required tow to mechanic, very embarrasing)

That was end of 2004.

Now latter half of 2009 and it has just under 149,000km on it.

Around 7600km a year.

I havent had a VP for 3 years now, but when i did the odometer just stopped ticking over at 208k....
I bought it from uncle who had owned it since brand new.
No real major problems, Central locking was kiffed, randomly locked and unlocked doors.
other than that i flogged the bejesus out of it and it still kept begging for me... i loved that car.

my vn has about 230,xxx on it, got a bit of a lifter tick and diff clunk but it goes good, going to get LSD and new lifter soon yayy,

ps; bj42turbo, arent you on street commodores aswell? ur dazz right?
