Airbag Suspension $3500.
or
Custom lowering job $1200
Cam $1000
Rockers $600
Maf-less tune $550 (well... thats if you have the bar map sensor and the ecu)

I know what l'd rather...
I would love to have airbags though, don't get me wrong, but l just can't justify spending that much money on something l've already spent over a grand on already.

cheers bro....but the custom lowering job at pedders which is also $1200 drops it only another 20-25mm which isnt really enough for wat i wanna get my car to look like. it will still sit fairly high.
but thanks for the prices

Thats why its custom...
I don't know how low you want to go but the guy that did mine put it at the level l wanted.
Mind you l had the country pack installed on my car to start with, meaning that it was 2 inches higher then a stock vs... yup, thats right 2 inches HIGHER. So it was a huge drop for me, but now l wish l had gone a tad lower all over, atleast in the rear as l like hte launcher look.

It's a tad more than $3500 if you buy off the shelf and don't know how to mount everything, plumb it all up

Then you have to figure out how big you want your tanks, what size compressor(s) you want, duty cycle of compressors (running for long periods of time?)

You my also get frustrated with the speed of the 3/8 lines and valves and want to upgrade to 1/2". Factor in some cash for that too.

Then there is labour if you have no experience

Can be quite costly. At least it is just a straight swap over - not like other vehicles where new mounts have to be designed, leafs taken out, 4links etc.

Just some points to ponder..

A decent kit with installation and engineering cert can cost quite a bit ;)

I've spent $6.5k getting airbags into my car (and getting them legal) and im looking at buying more tanks and compressors soon... its a never ending thing :p

Wow, $6500?
l was quoted roughly a grand per wheel basically.. That fully engineered too. I think the quality in parts may differ though.
