How to push the highest numbers on an NA 3.8L Ecotec

Mine went 295rwhp(219rwkw) through a auto(trimatic) an ran a 12.3 to back the numbers up NA buick... was a 4.2ltr stroker 80'thou bore, 10.8-1 comp BP 98 fuel, solid roller camshaft, ported heads an manifold, EMS computer, an alot of other small work

Mine has 217.6rwkw and would get nowhere near 12s, what else have you had done to it to get that time?

12.3? That's pretty special, I could only get 12.6 out of 18 pounds through an Eco, staged 4L and 3.9 Truetrac in a VS. Even well set-up stroked n/a I saw at the track always ran out of puff and gears by the traps

Yes swapped transmissions to the early model trimatic auto... Had to use adaptor plate kit from Castlemaine rod shop.
Was 295rwhp but stopped our running there as we ran out of injector size

Alot of work went into getting the engine setup how we wanted to operate in the higher rpm range with the stroker. Specially using the solid roller cam setup an valve train

Starts at 1300kg with factory trim. VS wouldn't be a heap more.

According to a weighbridge with nearly a full tank and me in it my VS was 1450

Weight varies greatly depending on model/specs etc. A base povo pack VN is fairly light compared to anything newer than it.
