i have recently purchased a Lukey 2.5" cat-back exhaust.
i am 1/2 through installing it and so far i have done:

Removed all bolts from the (is it Phlange?) well anyway all the bolts that hold the gaskets together and i have removed all rubber mounts and kept them in a safe spot.
i am stuck though as the pipe from the centre muffler that goes over the pipe coming from my cat is like it has been welded together, but when i baught the exhaust it said 'only hand tools required'

i pulled as hard as i could and shook like crazy and it just won't come off.. what can i do?

p.s i am going to my mates tonight and wanted to suprise him with it on but at this stage i doubt i will finish it without help from an exhaust guru or shop.
thanks.

If it was standard ita a straight swap, but if it has been modified before or replaced and welded, U can pull all U want, it ain't coming off.. its either been welded on or it hasn't..

can you take a pic and post it up?

There should have been two spring bolts holding the flange to the rear of the cat. It may just be rusted together, pull the muffler sideways and it should separate.
