When the car is cold and usually when trying to reverse it stalls a lot due to the pulsing of the cam I assume, and I have an auto which doesn't help.

Is there any way to stop this aside from a retune?

it's all in the tune prob needs more air and associated changes, should be easier with the auto it has a converter to help dampen it, is it fine once at operating temp ?

I had the same until I gave the butterflies and intake area a really good clean with throttle body spray.
The ports were black and butterflys caked in gunk .
On start up the loads of black smoke blew out .
I do it every month along with the K & N filters a wash and re oil.
Seemed to stop the stalling .
